From my perspective, this is great news. I‘m very happy with our current representatives.

Just my guess, but not I think they are not reducing minimum guarantee hours. Instead I see a pay cap likely, and MAYBE a reduction in ALV.

Honestly, is anyone gunna complain if they get displaced over the next month to a different seat? Knowing that 4100 pilots get to keep a job and getting paid to do very little? Any seat I fall into is much more than unemployment, 15% 401k, CSPP and healthcare.. seems like a good deal to me.

That being said I can see the dudes who can’t live on less than 100 hours being a little irked.

I agree with you.

It scares me that some guys have built lives around working 100+ hours a month when you know you are only guaranteed 70 or 75.

I will happily take a credit cap to save junior pilots jobs. And I thank those senior to me who can afford to help me keep mine as well.

Whatever concessions are in the LOA, our most junior guys can sleep sound for the rest of the summer and fall. To me that is worth concessions with kickbacks.

Cheers to our reps.

Yes, but until Delta actually pulls the trigger on the furlough, I can't help but think it is scare tactics for concessions.

Also glad to see any relief to the company has a definitive snap back. And very glad JB's junior pilots can sleep more soundly.

I 100% agree with you our MEC has been doing a great job throughout their tenure. I wasn’t a fan of the first 2 MEC’s.

As a junior pilot at JetBlue, it’s a huge relief!
