Finished up recurrent yesterday. They mentioned there are roughly 2000 pilots facing landing currency issues. They’re doing their best to catch up. But the obvious problems are catching up with required training from being shut down, lack of available flights to get current, and sim and instructor availability.
unfortunately it’s just not as simple as it used to be when you needed currency.

Requested landing currency in sim twice. No response.
Then was invited to requal training. The plan was to not dequal... Why are they inviting me to requal training when I have not dequaled yet and have requested landing currency event?

Instead of emailing, try calling a CP. I spoke with one, and he was super friendly and accommodating. Asked if I was comfortable with the 150 or if I wanted to come in and knock the rust off (day or 2 day trip). It was a very friendly conversation.

My experience has been a bit frustrating as well. I was on an incentive line for a couple of months and emailed the CP office volunteering to get my landings during that time. No response, one day I had an email telling me to bid on Flica for a training date.
Great, I thought everything was all set. Got my first 120 day extension. Now getting closer to my Sim session, I found out it is a Requalification Event (RQL-1), which requires a OE Leg and Line Check, before you get back to the line. Then just a couple of days ago, I got the 150 day extension. I’m legal until the end of July and have a line, which should get me all my landings. But somehow I still have this Requalification Training...

phil if you’ve got issues you need to start making phone calls. Your lack of comfort is understandable.
I can tell ya. I spent most of last year on LOA, got to fly in January then rsv while I studied for transition to the bus. I haven’t touched a plane since March. After brain dump study re dump
and refresh. Day two was less than stellar in my opinion but serves its purpose in order to knock off the rusticles. the check ride was a breeze.
