On the "up" side the junior guys in the FL bases are mostly lineholders. The reserve schedules tend to go senior as they are held by guys that live in base and don't want to fly.

Big announcement yesterday.

No new west coast focus city.

The new BlueJet is the same as the old BlueJet.

False hope is a staple of BlueManagement.

Didn't they announce they are growing Boston by 40% from 140 to 200 departures a day? Also, when does the current vacancy bid close? As someone who may be starting class in Nov/Dec, just curious what may be available for class drops.

Closes 9/14, results should be out by 9/21 and that will show what is left over. Probably won't be much difference from current BOS/JFK 190/320 offerings.

Yes they did. Externally first then internally. I don't count 10 hours before an public announcement as letting us know first. Also they gave no time frame to the growth and as past practice may indicate they are pimping news that may not occur until next decade.

The New West Coast Focus city was internally hinted by management then a few days later at the investor earnings call the cold water was thrown on it by other executives but the CEO (acting like a game show host) could be heard in the back ground as saying: "it's a priority".

Seen this act from D1 and D2.

Welcome aboard.

Ok great thanks. I figured it'll all be BOS and JFK, mainly just hoping for some bus spots to get down to FLL when I can.

Oh ok I gotcha. Certainly wasn't trying to be antagonistic, just didn't really know the details on it. Thanks for sharing.

Sure there was!

no one lives on the west coast... who cares.
