I have been with my current employer for 10.5 years flying Air Ambulance single pilot in King Airs and Pilatus.
Prior to this job was freight- your typical checks and ABX/DHL contract type stuff - C208 and 402's etc.

Thanks for your thoughts...
i've heard talk of jet time required, but i don't know facts, although years ago 2005, 2006, 2007, many 1900 pilots were hired here!

good luck

Thank you all for the info.

I will try to attend the job fair in Chicago May 8. My first choice of companies that will attend is Kalitta. Hopefully I can get to be first in line.

No, all pilots are based in YIP. If you are not already at work, travel to and from YIP is on your dime. We are in CASS. We are NOT home based.

Is there any chance of being interviewed after not flying for a couple years? I have 121, Jet PIC turbine time and all... > 5K hours total time.

Been trying to apply for 6 years now and never seem to hear back

Well... i will have to disagree with MAX ...for all intensive purposes.. we are home based...what we ARE NOT is Gateway based like Atlas, Netjets, Omni..etc.....

Max is actually correct, we are all based in YIP, the term "resident airport" allows for the idea of being home based.

One example that determines that is that we have to get ourselves to training, because that is our base.
anyway, play on words.

If u like Kalitta, you should apply to atlas. They are both very similar. I think atlas is slightly better.
