Technically, yes. Practically, No.

There is a rough ALPA structure on property, but they cannot get enough traction/organization to make a difference whatsoever. Wouldn't count on any influence from the "union" for quite a while.

How likely would a new hire be to get TPA, as I live in Okeechobee and looking to be close to home. Not new to the game I have over 7000 hours 2000 hrs pic 135 jet and almost 900 sic 121. Just looking for something to get me closer to home.

Looking on their website, they are only hiring CAs is that correct? I do not meet their requirements (on the website) if that is correct.

I wouldn’t worry too much about short term seniority. Barely 2 year old airline and it’s up to 420+ pilots on the seniority list. Next year is slated for even more growth, around a 50 aircraft fleet. They have big plans past next year with all the additional planes coming. Based on fleet projections, it will be a while yet before we’ve hired the last Captain.

Loses are trending down, they’ve set the goal of being profitable by next year. As training delays for hundreds of pilots have been sorted out compared to last year as well as A220s finally coming online at a regular pace, they’ll be making a lot more money exponentially.

we were supposed to be profitable by Q4. That could still happen. They are working a deal on getting 6 A220s from the used market. That will close the gap on our lack of airframes due to Airbus not delivering on time. Things are going good enough. I get a laugh when other pilots’ come over to tell us we are going out of business. Just like everyone said AA was going bankrupt for the last 5 years. We actually have a lot of very qualified, very experienced management in place, whether we like them or not, and they do know how to manage an airline. We were hit with unexpected delays from the FAA and Airbus all at once that definitely weren’t planned for, but we’re on the backside of that.

it’s always fun to get out of your own reality and go tell pilots’ at other airlines how bad they have it and what financial hardships their company is in, I guess.

The management team you speak about has also missed by very large numbers every forecast they have made. You have some of the lowest labor costs in the industry coupled with the highest revenue US airlines have ever seen. A lot of new aircraft are coming online in 2024 at all airlines and that is going to suppress revenue. For unknown reasons the management team is keeping their actual numbers as hidden as possible. If they were profitable they would not be doing that. They would be shouting the numbers everywhere like they did with JetBlue.
