I never said that. My point was that younger age is no guarantee of skill, while advanced age can definitely reduce skill.

Being young and lacking skill/aptitude has nothing to do with losing one’s skill/aptitude due to the ravages of time.

Of course it's my fight. I hold an ATP. Anything that restricts or enhances my career options is my business. My point still stands. Congress will make the call and whining about it here is a complete waste of time.
