Yawn

Not in the market for a jet. Can’t someone explain why it runs 3/4m to put a cirrus SR in the garage?

He seems to only understand the world in pure black and white context. Maybe a bit of Asperger's Syndrome at play.

I'm glad it's compulsory. Mostly because douchebags like you would leech off dues paying members.

Aviation anything is expensive.

Liability/traceability is probably the highest reason something cost 2-20x more for the aviation version.

Depending on the part, limited production vs automotive drives up the per unit cost.

Outside of turbine engine parts, actual material costs are the same, but when you add in part history / material traceability that drives even sheet aluminum up.

Have to pay for all the lawyers and liability insurance, too. Every time there's an accident/incident, everyone gets sued, so they all protect themselves. Sucks for the rest of us.

LOL you just failed critical thinking. Why are you scared of competition and voluntary interaction? Why are you anti-choice? hmmm if it's such a good idea then why does it need to be mandatory?

False. It's quite possible to have employees with different work rules and different pay structures. Computers make it quite easy to do. Why are you scared of giving people a choice?

Because it's not a fact, it's an opinion, which is a false one.

And see, the union group-think thugish mentality, which is vividly on display here, is what makes unions so repulsive, besides the fact that they are all pro-Democrat organizations. I actually like the idea of a union because there are some benefits, but the BS that is getting shoveled in this thread is why I would consider NOT joining one if given the choice.
