If I had the kind of aviation career such that I flew around in a 172 and felt the need to troll professional pilot boards, I'd probably run my mouth about being opressed too.

He’s not flying, he’s ‘traveling’.

All of them, but a very lucky few were furloughed for years in the early 70's.
The difference is experience of new hires in the '60's versus those hired in the '80s and onwards.

Sometimes I have to ask for permission from my wife.

Anything that is a license is essentially asking permission from the government to exercise a right. Gun license, marriage license... also if you have to get a permit to do things on your own property, zoning, etc. Free people don't ask permission.

Sounds like you could use some actual oppression to be able to [redacted] recognize it. Absolutely disgusted by your kind and glad this is the only place I ever see this drivel anymore.

You want to enjoy all the benefits of citizenship and union level contracts, but none of the responsibilities. Sorry, but civil society has thankfully decided legally to prevent such freeloading, and the proof of the wisdom of our legal system is in the economic might of the US. Most Americans still prefer freedom over feedumb.

Freedumb is what freedumb does Jerry. Throwing every grievance under the sun at a judge has sharks chasing a frozen embryo in one courtroom, patients denied terminating at risk pregnancies in another. Hours after ruling either way appeals are filed in yet another. A tug driver snaps a tow bar. Some lady in coach freaks out and demands to get off. Peter the purser gets punched in the nose. Hear all about it at 6 & 11 on channels 5, 9 and 10. It’s less a shortage of pilots as lack of faith in authority or any measure of discipline, tolerance.
