Being cut off from your computer access, forbidden to go into the office, and then you see your President's court jester post on X that he plans to, quote, "feed (this agency) to the wood chipper."

Would like to see your reaction if your employer did the same.

Actually there are quite a few things in our government that needs a sledgehammer taken to it. Our acquisitions process is probably earning the top spot.

You probably missed the part where Republicans told them repeatedly. But hey, now you know.

Given USAID was created by executive order, it seems logical that it can be ended by one. The funds authorized for foreign assistance by congress will simply be allocated by the state department.

What a lame thread started on fake news that the new resignation opportunity for lazy at home federal workers applied to ATC, who do not work from home.

Tend to agree, depending on what agency and how authorized. I'd actually be more concerned, but I suspect this congress will codify a lot of what Musk/Trump want to do anyway, they're just getting a head start.

you can go back to the ancient Roman times and people were neither male nor female/ both.. also, % of people born hermaphrodite exceeds people born with red hair…. Let that sink in. Not such an easy decision for a parent to make at birth

the bold part is precisely the problem. bypassing proper governance and pressuring politicians to agree after the fact is absolute strongman idiocy.

I bet you once thought masks work and still think masks work.

Look, usaid was bypassing proper governance and it's getting stopped lawfully. These government slush funds need to be stopped at usaid, fema, hhs, dod, and so on.

It certainly looks like usaid was used to create covid 19, if so, those people need to be prosecuted for the death of millions.

This is all very very good.

I think it's great. Usaid is in the FO stage of FAFO.

Just follow DOGE on X, it's amazing to see how much they're finding so far.
