It’s interesting to see that at other airlines. I know people do, but I have yet to an actually see an FO or CA actually carry food with them on a trip at United. Do you guys not get fed on board?

"Our" diets are not dogpoop. I eat pretty healthy, and yes I can feel the difference. I'd be in favor of massive restrictions on processed food, (the west euros do get that right).
Yes, I know one too. Marathon runner, navy officer, ex-enlisted marine, keeled over dead in his 40's while an active member of a special operations unit. Didn't want to take the meds, was very aggressive about diet and exercise but it wasn't enough given his numbers.
Again I do all that, and so do most of the folks I fly with (who are mostly all old).
But that's why I want a *representative* study. I don't know but I suspect the age is too low. Or maybe it's too high, let the chips fall where they may

That report is from a biased organization that took a study from a biased source. Among other things they get wrong they do not mention anything about quality of the healthcare people are getting in those different countries (there is a reason that those who can afford it all come to America for major surgeries). Is ALPA lobbying against the age to ICAO? It seems like ICAO is really the one holding all the cards…

Unions aren't really relevant in international politics. The path for ALPA influence is to lobby the US administration, since that's who does diplomacy with UN agencies. The same administration which just appointed a pro 67 activist as US ambassador to ICAO.
Not to say that ALPA won't tilt at the windmill anyway, just for the optics to appease the membership.
