Thanks for the props!
My "hours in the last 12 months" is dwindling now -- as of today, I have 60 hours in the past year (not including mil conversion, which won't bring it up to 100). I have 3,400 TT, 1150 PIC (again not including mil conversion) -- it's all ME turbine except 300 hours turboprop. Almost all of it is overseas as well.
But, if the 100 hours rule is hard and fast, then I might as well look elsewhere.

UAL used to require 100 hours as well but now appears to have a "waiver" for Military flyers. The only Major that was higher than 100 is SWA. They want 200 hours in a 36 month period but aren't interviewing off the street right now .
You might look at building some time at one of the regionals while keeping your applications current. I also know of one guy who went to AirTran.

In my interview group, the two AF heavy guys were hired.
The two AF fighter pilots busted the cog test.
Priceless.

Please talk to your buddies at DAL and have them walk your resume to the pilot hiring selection office in ATL on their next trip down south. Have them talk to someone, otherwise, it's tough to stand out from the stack. Good luck!

I will agree. If you have someone walk your stuff in, they look at it that day. If they are good they get the call. That simple. Just make sure your stuff is perfect and the guy walking your stuff in knows you and your history well enough to talk about it if they have any questions when they review your app. They will do it right in front of them. Make sure they are well versed on your hiccups and what not. It makes them feel that you did not pay the guy off and actually know them.

Increased summer international schedule, still hearing that 9 MD-90's are all but signed for, and we are short in addition to that. Probably 100 guys per month for March and April. Back to 70 or so in May. They said they would hire 200 last year and ended up hiring 400. This year they said they were planning on 400 and I've heard it will end up around the 700 mark and that was before the increased international stuff. Might see around 900 this year.
