Way to go Delta (Taxiway Landing)

Two things KC,
First, thank you for your service, and I do mean that.
Second, I agree with parts of your post, but you have in the past expressed certain opinions about regional guys, and you tend to generalize. Well you need to know that as a military trained pilot (as opposed to coming up through the civilian ranks, regional, etc.), you really don't have any expertise in the matter, in fact, your opinion is at best naive when you put us all in the same box. To that end, you should also know that whether you mean it or not, you almost come across as if you actually think you're better than the regional pilots, again a very naive assumption at best if you actually believe that. Just an honest observation, I caution you from talking about the regional pilots, or the issues we face in our segment of the industry, as if you have experience in the matter, not only is it in poor taste, but it might be constituted as misrepresentation of your fellow brothers and sisters also serving our country.
Best of luck,

NTSB - Accidents Involving Passenger Fatalities - U.S. Airlines (Part 121)
Here's a list from the NTSB looks pretty accurate just to add some facts to this debate.

Southwest 1248 - Midway
FedEx 80 - Tokyo
Kalitta - Bogota
American Airlines 587 – New York
Alaska Air 261 – Over the Pacific
American Flight 1420 – Little Rock
I did omit AirMidwest 5481 in CLT by mistake, and I do apologize. But otherwise, it looks pretty even to me, and it certainly backs up the studies. All information above can be gathered from the NTSB's website.
Again, the point is not who is better. The answer to that question is simple...no one is. The point is that complacency and non-compliance are issues that we face in every segment of the industry, and have very little to do with your logbook as proven by LOSA and even the Boeing studies.

Please point out any post where I've talked about either major airline pilots, nor military pilots with any sort of demeanor. That's what I thought. On the other hand, KC has been very vocal at times, and has a bad tendency of putting all of us "regional" pilots in the same box.

Guys... there are regional guys and main line guys doing a spot on job and lets say there are some that do a less than spot on job.
Come on already... get over the "who has the bigger pecker syndrom" and stay on track with the thread.
Can we agree that even one accident is too many??? be it in any aircraft of any type of operation. Get over it folks. An incident occurred of which we are all waiting for facts.
I'm the crew is doing a good river dance in front of the Chief Pilot's and D/O and the Director of Safety.
If meeting of the minds at Delta say to the crew your services are no longer required, have a nice life, then so be it.
If the FAA decides on certificate action, then so be it.
If Delta proposes additional training for the crew, including line training and line checks, and it is approved by the FAA, then so be it.
In any event, this incident will fade away and be long forgotton by all, except by the crew of DAL 60... so be it.

I'll keep saying it, nobody is better than anybody, no one is impervious to making mistakes, no one is immune from complacency, hence that little thing we all call CRM.
