One question. Has anyone actually bought a meal on a republic operated Midwest flight? I've flown around 50 legs and I haven't seen one yet. The FA's advertise it over the PA but they have never asked anyone if they want one during their service. You know this service was profitable back when the real Midwest provided it. Are your FA's just too lazy? Your FA's realize that these meals are trashed if not bought right? I'm not an expert in sales but I believe studies have shown that sales increase if you actually ask someone if the would want something.

I believe you, but this issue needs to solved by management, FA checkrides or the Captains. Republic will kill the Midwest brand over time.

Heard form a Republic guy that their union sent a letter to F9's union last week telling them(F9 pilots) they will be integrated into the RAH master seniority list.
Anyone know any more? When it might happen? Will it go to arbitaration/mediation? Will FAPA have a leg to stand on to fight this and get what they want?
Also heard from the same guy that RAH is looking to get rid of all the Airbus very soon, and might take over the 195 orders that JetBlue hasn't taken delivery of yet.

giving the fact the JB does not have any 195's order or planes that seems plausible.
If you are referring to the 100 orders of 190, JB has pushed their deliveries to 2011, they have not sold their options or delivery slots yest, so that seems even less plausible.

The high activity level that we started last week continues this week, especially for the Merger Committee. The MEC is continuing our work to ensure the ongoing representation of the pilot group after the flying ceases. To that end, we’ll be in front of the Executive Council and the Executive Board in Herndon next week.
The Merger Committee has been hard at work trying to reach agreement on an Alternative Dispute Resolution Process as provided for by section 13(b) of the Allegheny-Mohawk LPPs. This section provides for the parties to reach an agreement on their own process to settle the dispute as opposed to the process defined by the LPPs themselves. The committee had several conferences with the merger representatives from the other pilot groups and they report that they are close to concluding a 13(b) Agreement with the other pilot groups involved. The agreement must still be accepted by Republic Airways Holdings’ VP―Labor Relations, Ron Henson, who has been unavailable due to personal matters. We expect this issue to be finalized early next week and as soon as it is we’ll let you know. If agreement is reached, we’ll post the document for all to see; otherwise we will proceed under the other section of the LPPs and we’ll explain that more fully at that time.

And yes, the Frontier pilots will be integrated into our master seniority list. Plain and simple, it's in our contract and it has to happen. What do you mean will FAPA have a leg to stand on. It's in everybody's interest to have one list..common sense.

Bedford might run a cruel operation for his employees...but he's not stupid. Parking Airbus in place of E-jets? Thats the dumbest move you could do.
Just because our payrates are garbage now, doesn't mean they will be forever. With the potential growth of the pilot group and added strength from the F9/Midwest pilots, they won't be paying us this crap for long. The Airbus will remain the center of the F9 fleet...it has too...otherwise BB's evil plan to rule the world will fail.
