A) There's no "touchy touchy" from my end. B) Your quoting of my post was originally addressed to highsky.

hmmmm, with the defensive language in your post, me thinks you're posting under two separate APC accounts.

That's pretty funny right there...I'm sure that you would have a lot of sympathy for SWA guys, if it weren't for that one comment.

Hilarious.

No.. just one account. And maybe I just took that post the wrong way (gosh THAT never happens).. But my post is defensive in nature because theis is more of a SWA thread, and I feel as if I am a guest here... and I don't want to offend anybody... really. Sorry, couldn't hold off on the arrogant post though... anyway, I'll take my leave iof you guys, and you can burn my avatar in effigy.

Ciao

I know that it is easy to pass on Southwest. Why bother with the best salary in the business, best working atmosphere and a secure future when you can choose another avenue that offers endless chaos (furloughs, low pay, pay reductions, outsourcing to regional carriers, nasty relations with management) Who wants such a boring career?!

I would probably take that desk job you were talking about. Best bet is a cubicle without a phone so you won't have to work and play well with others.
Umm, I think MILPILOT17 is a Southwest guy and was just being sarcastic....

That's how I took it.

BTW, I went to HPA in Oct 08 (nice timing!) and faithfully update my SWA app each month. I can't wait to get a shot at working there.

20/20 hindsight expert....I am not surprised with your Mesa screenname either...at least you are consistent....and I bet you even watch the bachelor, as he has to go on national TV for a date....and say "I want to be just like that guy with his SWA uniform on."
If he has to pay for his job...he probably has to pay for his women too!!!

Tankerhead, you're right on the money. I was just being sarcastic with a buddy of mine. It just blows my mind that someone would not be willing to make a small investment in order to land a great job. I guess these people are the same ones that don't invest in the stock market? I guess you could buy/sell naked puts/calls (it's the options market) without any investment, but if you're wrong it's gonna cost ya big (see any comparison to landing a good airline job?). Good luck when the SWA interview happens.
