I admit the FACT that Southwest is a very profitable airline. I do NOT admit that Southwest dominates the industry. It's your OPINION that Southwest dominates the industry, but it's not a fact.

Delta was around in 1975 and we're still here. We've been in the industry since 1924. Herb wasn't even born yet when Delta started flying!

I apologize for the big picture, I just like symbolism.

Gotta like the chest-thumping. Get rid of those RJ codeshares and go after the pay-raises, boys!

PS - I earned $17,000+ last month flying an all-domestic 737 as an FO, no vacation, no sick calls.
I don't get equipment envy, I prefer cash.

I don't consider myself low cost or cheap, but I would consider Delta pilots to be. Any of you big equipment operators
want to post your pay total for July? Thought not, I'll stick with my puny all domestic podunk operation. That
legacy stuff is far too compericated for me. I'd have a much harder time balancing my check book.

It's not always about just the money.... but I'll bet you have a really big watch too. Material things are not how I measure my stature among others. (Not that I give a rat's a$$ how much anyone makes anyway... ain't none of my business) Here's what legacy international flying is all about...

Goulash in BUD
Caipirinahas in GRU
Great noodles in NRT/PEK (you're welcome Carl)
Great waves for you surfers in DKR and HNL
Pizza in well.. anywhere in Italy
Guiness in DUB
Tzaziki and lamb in ATH
.... the list goes on.

No chest thumping, and I personally find domestic boring... (what do ya mean I have to do another preflight... TODAY?!?!?!?!?!) But I do agree that the RJ codeshares need to go away.

Your turn
