I agree that some of the viewpoints presented by pro-ALPA people are sometimes obnoxious and pedantic, but if you're going to be the referee on matters of arrogance, you're going to have to step in a lot more often.

Of course it is. And Carl is just misunderstood when he tells everyone they're ignorant. And people that label anyone that doesn't agree with DPA as a "unioid", or an "apologist" are only trying to help, by showing them what stupid lap-dogs they are.
