MEH/F9/RAH/Lynx Proposals are now avail.

As usual, these web boards are a fount of misinformation. There wasn't an NDA per se. There was an agreement between all of the parties involved to keep all of the information surrounding the SLI, including the proposals, confidential. Arbitrator Eischen isn't a federal judge. He can't send anyone to jail or impose penalties on anyone that aren't specified in the LPP 13(b) agreement (there are none called for). It was a gentleman's agreement between the parties, and known well to all.
The IBT went back on their word, Eischen asked them to mitigate the damage and remove the proposals from their website. The IBT leadership said no.
Will this cause Eischen's final decision to be different from what it would have been had they not have reneged on their promise? He says no. Take that for what it's worth, but whatever the repercussions - they have been earned by IBT leadership.
When Eischen makes his final decision we will deal with it. Until then, keep on posting...

Looks more like you got punked, to me.
So, really, the truth is...Your guys all did the secret handshake, but the IBT had their fingers crossed behind their backs. No "formal" documents...no signatories, no consequences...I'm surprised the arbitrator even commented when this happened except to shake his head and say, "I told you so."
Knowing this information, I'd be willing to bet he called and "suggested" they pull the proposals down 'cause he certainly has no authority over a "gentleman's agreement" to demand it.

You're proof of that.

Really ? PROVE IT.State your source.What's that ? Don't have one ?
"The FAPA proposal would leave everyone in the exact same position they were already at. "
That's not an "integration". 7 year fences?

What under FAPA's proposal if it were implemented, would change for the pilots at RAH? At Frontier?
If the IBT proposal was implemented, what would change for the pilots at RAH? at F9?
Ask yourself these questions considering 3 possible scenarios. 1- overall growth, 2- no growth, 3- overall shrinkage ("I was in the pool!!")
Which of the two proposals keep things mostly as they were pre-purchase, thus leaving career expectations intact?
Be honest with yourself when answering. It is pretty obvious whose proposal was out in left field.

What a goat rodeo..... If this doesn't scream for one list for all in this industy, nothing does... Hey if actors, pipe fitters, electricians, doctors, ect. can have control over their industries/ entry barriers, why can't we?

Again, by that time the actual award will be public and some people will have much more to worry about than who said what and where.
Regardless, the record will be set straight. The IBT went back on their word. Additionally, they wrote a "brief" that was misleading and inaccurate. I have no idea why. The proposals and every mundane detail will eventually be released. There is absolutely no logic behind the stunt that they pulled last week.
Before you type "prove it" in CAPS again, you might want to verify what actually transpired.
There may be some bright side to this entire debacle. I have witnessed a significant increase in the amount of interest by all parties, especially the IBT members. If anything else, the apathy seems to be subsiding. Getting everyone excited and then being proved wrong might not be the best strategy.
38 days until the final award. The fact that the IBT totally stepped on their d1cks will come out. We can choose to waste the next six weeks debating that fact, or we can do something more constructive with our time.
This will be my last post on the SLI "debate", I am extremely comfortable with everything that I have posted.
A fellow pilot, an IBT member on this board, has really helped me get back to what is important.
All of our energy can be directed towards something more productive.

Another outsider opinion.
Wow, finally saw the proposals. IBT top 299?? Really?? I guess if you can't earn the narrowbody job on your own then try to steal it from someone else. Disgusting!
Good luck to the other 3 unions. It look like they tried to be somewhat logical.
Yup, I said it and it is true.
