3000TT would get you in the ballpark. No TPIC required. Get an application in when they open the window for resumes next time.

Thanks. I know my checks are complete and I heard 99% of all OCT backgrounds were complete as well. So if no letter by now we are all fine ...... just wondering what kind of forecast we are looking at, but I guess there is no way to find out. Someone out there knows the secret formula for calls to class, but even then I wouldn't know where I am in the line. Like you all said, keep holding, all is well. Merry Christmas!

Yea, I think the training department is just in limbo at the moment. With the combination of Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years I am sure they are waiting for the final go-ahead from upper level folks before they finalize numbers for the class sizes.

I'd wager they will hire about the same as they have been (~20/month) for 2012. Based on that they should run through most of the October peeps by April.

It's based on your original interview time slot in order of who gets called for classes.

All this talk about October people! Don't forget Almost as many Nov people if not the same. They interviewed at least two groups in Nov.

My background check is done and has been sent back to JetBlue. Nov 9 @ 1130.

I overheard one of the base chief pilots say that the current number for 2012 is 150 new hired, but likely to change on a whim. He said we are appropriately staffed through June. With that being said, I was surprised to learn that calls are still going out for class dates. So, I imagine the company knows their hiring plans about as much as I do...
