DALPA on notice

The fact you should even ask that question is amazing because it shows such naiveté. Of course the organization itself cannot be trusted. No organization can be when it is either investigating itself, or wanting to find out the true opinions of its members. That's why any credible organization that is trying to get to the truth will ONLY hire an outside agency to conduct the survey as well as allow that outside agency to compile the results. It's also why any credible organization will immediately PUBLISH the results of the survey (no matter how ugly the results are for the organization). That's how trust is built in the survey and in its results. How DALPA has done it...is not. Cue the apologists now who will scream that it would be playing right into management's hands and that's why we can't release the results...3 - 2 - 1.....
Correct. No organization can be when investigating or surveying itself.
There is no other credible way. As far as my honesty goes, it has nothing to do with honesty. The practice of not investigation and/or surveying yourself is a long standing practice that I sure didn't invent.

Nobody that has a job, ever had a job, applied for a job, paid taxes, took out a loan with the intent to pay it back in full or ever tried to accomplish anything of value sympathizes with the few hundred (and sometimes well paid albeit not a living wage) Wall St Occupiers.

Did anyone in DAL management take accounting 101?
Your math doesnt jive with their pay and bonuses.
If you are going to bend over, could you please just do it in private?

Why can't we do it the old fashioned way and just walk if we don't get what we want? Use facebook like some of the Middle East countries did to organize a strike? Be the group who said we don't want your tea and dump it in the harbor!

Really? You think our 70 hour reserve guarantee is NOT near the worst in the industry? You think our pathetic Scope language is the NOT the VERY worst in the industry? You think the fact that somebody like me at the top of the heap at Delta only makes about 25K per year more than an SWA First Officer is not nearly the worst pay? You think that a domestic 3 day trip worth 11 hours isn't an example of nearly the worst trip/duty rig in the industry?
Really man, if you think I'm hypoxic, what do they call someone who still has his new hire Kool-Aid flowing in his veins?

If I could understand exactly what it is they are protesting, I might consider it. So far, all I've heard and seen is them calling for the collapse of the US banking system and American democracy. Definitely NOT going to support those causes. You?

If we open for a contract that puts our total pilot costs 5% above SWAPA then I am sure the company will sign it that day. Do a little research on actual total pilot costs. That is why I get tired of hearing about SWAPA. Our goal should be a better contract then they have.

I totally agree with that. There are things in the SWA CBA I do not want at all. They also should not be our goal or min, that should be above that level.
