Well, Look at all the finance failures, housing market crash, and other industry collapses. There are more dumb as#es out there with college degrees. I do believe there is something wrong with colleges nationwide. Take a look at the way higher education has evolved into a mega for profit factory. High ranking College presidents have salaries in the millions, but are not held accountable..

I submit it starts in high school. Economics, civics and history are barely even touched upon there. And no one anywhere knows anything about statistics.
Yeah, there are less-than-desirable people out there running large corporations, but you won't find all that many out there run by high school grads either.
It's never a simple answer. There wasn't this kind of vitriol when things are good. Never is. When things turn around everyone is going to defend their CEO as a genius. Look at SWA.

Most of us junior Delta guys were hired at regionals when they were regionals with turboprops and were along for the RJ revolution that mainline guys of old let happen.
5500 NWA guys and 2000 junior guys outnumber the Delta guys of 1992 that you referred to. There won't be any more growth in the DCI fleet at Delta. I hope you have fun LYAO.

The North Atlantic JV protections for DAL pilots' flying via a 6-party agreement. (Ask United pilots how well their trans-Atlantic flying is protected; ref. Aer Lingus/United venture)
Large RJ totals were reduced from separate NW and DAL maximums in the merged contract.
The company can't use "fuzzy math" for large RJ's...DALPA calculations have to be used.
Yeah, Lee Moak hated scope.

RJ explosion happened under DW and his predecessor. Can you point me in the direction of any scope regression at an ALPA mainline since DW left office?

You mean during Moak's thow:
