You add up ALL the executive bonuses at JB, it would be 1/100 the cost of raising pilot casm by 30%.

I think you miss the point. They fool you into taking less, they get rewarded for it. It's that simple.

Lord knows why you are even suggesting that they couldn't buy a plane with their bonuses. That has nothing to do with it.

Just keep working away, fat dumb and happy, at your discounted rate.

We had a $100 million dollar "mistake" with the GE engines. Do you think anyone will not get their bonus? They are not accountable for any of the mistakes that are made.

What's it like?

You could say that about any company! There bonuses going on at EVERY airline, and every major corporation in this country. If your point is to say "only" Jetblue management makes mistakes and gets bonuses, well, your head is in the sand... Do I think someones head should spin because of the loss, most certainly. I also think someones head should spin in management because of 3A. Because of 3A, and the cost of it, I may not see any increase in compensation.

3a isn't going to cost the company squat. And no that wasn't his point. The point is that jet blue expects you to work for a discount to fund their plans yet tells you they want to pay you better.

Pilots angry at pilots for wanting better compensation. You guys amaze me.

Exactly. When the 190 guys got a 26.7% raise the overwhelming majority applauded. Bluedriver works here for 10 minutes and thinks he's the guru of all things JetBlue espousing himself to altruistic. Yet he only wants any changes must be for him too. So many JB Pilots are such narcissistic sycophants.
