How about you prove us wrong. You're the one who seems to know everything here, about what our ELT is NOT making. You show us the numbers. These ****sticks negotiate their own pay, that is a fact! This company makes more money than what they say. Growth you say? Your organic growth is already slowing down. It's called Aer Lingus and Hawaiian Airlines parking at T5, plus ZERO open time in FLICA! And now the company wants to have unlimited domestic code sharing?! YGTBFSM!! I don't see how the union would slow down growth anymore. The ELT has had their chance to grow at the speed that you preach. Time is up. Pay it forward!
I don't think he knows what kind of "growth" the company is planning on. EVIDENTLY, they don't care about the brand or culture. The very fact that they are happy to put a JB code elsewhere is all the proof anyone should need that the mighty $ is all they care about. Culture?????? HaHaHaHa! Failed models?????? Isn't it VERY STRANGE that JB are code sharing with business partners they have slammed as being "Failed Models"?????? He wont be upgrading. This progression through seniority he dreams of wont happen. He'll be watching other Airline's carrying JB passengers while his comp is gutted further. A fool and his money are easily parted. JJ |

Compensation Information for David Barger , Chief Executive Officer and President, Director of JETBLUE AIRWAYS CORP | Salary.com EXACTLY AS I SAID. There bonuses from link one total 1,300,000 million shares. At 7 dollars a share (being generous on that one) you get a TOTAL exec bonus of 9.1 million dollars. That is less than 25% the cost of an airbus. Wow, you proved yourself an idiot. And to be honest, they would get a bonus if we got higher pay anyway, maybe 20-30% smaller, which would only be 1-2 million dollars less bonus. So, I have to ask, if we raise pilot comp by 30%, which will cost 100-120+ million, management MIGHT get 1-2 million less, where does the other 98-118 million come from? Where is it going now, since it is not going to executive bonuses? |

I don't like the codeshare stuff entirely, but I am not anti-union. That said, most union companies codeshare. And a union wouldn't force the company to buy A330s to fly to Dublin. No open time in FLICA in sept, a trough month, wow I'm so shocked.... Wait until you get the vacation system these guys are demanding. Be ready for no open time 3x as often. I didn't say a union would slow growth. I said raising pilot CASM 30% (or legacy pay) would slow growth. Growing is expensive, the money has to come from somewhere. And despite what alvr says, labor expenses are not free, and they do matter. |

I remember in Jan 2011 or 2012 we got the management sob story about how there would no raises for ELT. The company communication explained how this hardship had never occurred at JetBlue but was necessary. Two weeks later there was a filing with the SEC outlining the million dollar stock grants. Unreal.
