NO!

Did I say it was?
Did you miss the part about I want a CBA.
I think you like to argue just to argue.
This is why people don't like some of the super pro union guys, you don't even listen to what people say.
Come to think of it I am not even sure why I am writing this because you will just find another reason to write your nonsensical crap Mr Mainline Pilot.

Why would you NOT want to agree with the TRUTH???

JB doesn't pay well. It doesn't sound good. But, it's the TRUTH!

JJ

Its not the fact about the pay its the fact that I have to agree with someone like you.............THE PAY NEEDS TO COME UP.....THE PAY NEEDS TO COME UP. I AM PRO CBA....THE PAY NEEDS TO COME UP ALONG WITH EVERYTHING ELSE.....DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

Oh ok. You sounded like you were trying to sugar coat things by saying you're making more than ever before. Kinda sounds good until we remind others that JB guys are compensated below average doesn't it?
;)

I just think people need to tell it like it is!

No but they gladly took the job at Blue (who didn't make them give up their number) when they got furloughed.

Some reasons guys are leaving.

1 Pay Is the first one along with other things(as you have read) there is no way around that.
2 A very young pilot group so If we don't grow it will be a slow climb.
3 Different bases and International widebody flying.
4 Retirements at the majors and some growth....ie Delta.(move up the list quick)
5 They think jetBlue will be bought and we have no Idea what will happen to the pilots.
7 They don't think we have a viable business plan( I don't agree)
8 They have always wanted to work for a "real major" and they are now hiring.
9 They want a company with a cba.

There are really all kinds of reasons its all personal.
We might be entering a time where pilots are in demand and it will be up to jetBlue to keep its pilots or just turn into a training factory.

I like jetBlue but agree we need a cba it is not the hell people make it out to be. My schedule in September 17 days off 88 hours I have made more than ever before and spend more time at home even though I commute.
Being honest if United called or the American/Airways thing worked out I would have to consider all options but there is nothing wrong with that.
For once we might all have the ability to go where we want.(maybe)

Thank you for your post, honestly all I could really get out of the last 40 pages are some people are happy, some sad, and others like going to other airlines and telling them how much they suck....

I just want the facts so I can make my own decision on whether or not it would be a place where I would be happy, because it is a personal decision. I've made many bad ones in my life so I'm the last person who will tell someone else what's best for them.....the government does that enough as it is.....:D

- horrible scheduling
- unproductive pairings
- bad hotels
- autocratic management
- terrible healthcare
- zero respect from managers, rampers, flight attendants gate agents because we are all equal
-really ugly uniforms
- terrible reserve policies
- no merger protection
- domestic codes sharing coming

Anyone else please chime in on why people are leaving without talking about pay.

ok, see this is the stuff I'm looking for...can you expand on these? how bad are the hotels?

You don't even know me!

Have we met?

Do you often find yourself at odds with people who, by your admission, are stating facts?

Curious behavior dude. Very curious.

Please, kill this thread. Kill it with fire.

Then again, the very next jetBlue thread is going to devolve into the same freakin' thing.....

Yes, Delta pays better. Same with United. If i were offered a job there tomorrow....I wouldn't go. OMG!?!?! I'm a Juicer! I hate unions! I'm a moron! Nope. I'm pro-CBA, pro-raise and pretty much pro-everything else the self proclaimed "non-juicers" are. I just have other priorities and desires than $$$.
