Or we could just get back to talking about the movement at JB if any. Speaking of, how long can one expect to be on reserve?
Right now, BOS 190 is probably the quickest way to a line, with JFK 190 and 320 not far behind. |

Are we just about ready to close this thread and let it die?
Ive been reading it for a while and it has digressed to essentially 2-4 folks with differing opinions going back and forth. Neither will see the others side. Might be a better candidate for a PM instead of this waste of a thread? Will any of you miss it? I think it is very dead. |

As long as the other Majors are hiring, JetBlue will continue to lose Pilots. A lot of guys want to leave JB and should be in with a very good chance. This will help new guys move along.
Don't expect to see much growth but the industry defying attrition will be significant. JJ We are growing I think only spirit is growing faster.... |

September is my fifth full month off IOE, and I held a line in August. I got kicked back to reserve in September, but should be a regular line holder by the holidays.

So can someone post some bullets on the reasons why dudes are leaving JB?

Pilots have been leaving JB for years dude. And, in large numbers. But, we are "not supposed" to cite the reasons why because it upsets the "believers". If you don't fit the "culture" you are seen as one who doesn't align himself with JB's model. In other words, if you don't like below average compensation all across the board, coupled with zero protections, you're not a good fit. Onslaught and rationalizations from Bluejuicers coming in 3....2....1 JJ |

So once again, what are the reasons pilots are leaving JB? Please no *itch session, just straight facts. And I don't want to hear this pay and non-industry standard bs you guys have been moaning about for the last 40 pages........besides that, why are dudes leaving? (unless that's the only reason I guess)

It's simple! Other carriers compensate much higher! Nothing motivates people like money! JJ |
