It was quite a while ago but I believe I received an email with a request to call and set up an interview date. The conditional offer of employment will be delivered by a chief or assistant chief pilot after you make it through the review board.

At the interview they told us when the board would meet (was the end of the month) and the chosen (3) could expect a phone call the following Wednesday.
The 12 of us interviewing made a contact list and agreed to advise when the calls went out. Sure enough the 3 E-mails rolled in on that Wednesday, all within an hour.
The rest of us received our "thanks but no thanks" letter that following Saturday.
.... bad memories, I think I just threw up in my mouth a bit remembering that day.

Fingers crossed its not a Groundhog Day experience this time!
Good luck everyone!

Valid
I had been told by "them" that 1 hour in a T37/38/F16D could never equal more than 1 hour (combined) PIC for the 2 guys flying it which is incorrect. If you're a UPT student, then you cannot log PIC (while flying dual) since you are not rated. If you're an IP flying CT with another IP, or even a PIT/B-course student post-qual check then all your primary time is PIC. Debatable (depending on your definition of qualified) whether or not pre-qual check in the aforementioned jets or IFF student time is PIC (assuming you were not a T38 FAIP prior to IFF).
I reclaimed about 300+ hours of CT, PIT, B-course, and TX time but I opted to leave out the IFF time.

I interviewed in Dec 2011 and received an email invite. I was directed to go go my pilotcredentials profile, where a new tab appeared allowing me to select an interview date/time. After I did that I got another email with an interview confirmation and more instructions. No call at all regarding the interview. They provided a person to contact at SWA if I had and questions, that I did talk to a few times. Employment offer came as a call from a Chief Pilot.

PIC for this purpose is defined as Captain/Aircraft Commander of record, not simply the sole manipulator of the controls. For military personnel, Southwest Airlines will allow flight time logged as "Pilot in Command" (PIC) only if you are the Captain/Aircraft Commander, Evaluator, or Instructor Pilot. Primary time will only be considered PIC on a specific aircraft after an individual upgrades to Aircraft Commander n the appropriate aircraft.
