The 500 is FWTPIC. 400 is multi.

When you fly multi crew aircraft, you don't get more.

The regional airlines just are not an option.

We're a single income family and there's no way to support a family on regional pay.

I plan on staying with the contract gig for now, but from a family standpoint I can't do this forever. Another year or two, yes. Another five years, no.

E2, any squadron instructing counts. As the XO do you work people up for section leads? Or what about NATOPs? If so include it as IP time.

I was a maintenance guy mostly. Lots of FCF flights, a few FCF training flights. Technically most of my Aircraft Commander time was instruction, but I don't have an IP letter to show.

I was a Night Vision Goggle Instructor in helo land, but as far as 121 is concerned, nothing helicopter counts.

I'm a TACRON XO. We're a squadron but have no planes.

You have had a diverse career buddy. Try to stay current and network, like everyone says, it cannot be over emphasized and you WILL get a call. Be ready as it happens quick.

I have similar hours to you but have spent the last 8 years flying medium narrow body aircraft. Nothing so far other than a meet and greet and a fix it email.

Hang in there.
