Actually do stress over Hogan... they use it as a deal breaker. "I like classical music..." or "I prefer to read a book over watching TV..." Really?!
"I would enjoy skydiving." So what if you actually did 15 years ago, but haven't done it since? Your only options are true or false...
If they were using Hogan as a supplement to give you a better screening and line of questions at the interview, then I'd say don't worry.
Using a true/false line of questions as end-all-be-all without a follow-up, they've sent some outstanding candidates to Delta, SWA and AA.

Thanks to Keith at Centerline, his prep was invaluable. Highly recommended!
Also, Greg & Mary at ECIC were lots of help. Thanks so much!

I was seriously shocked to get the invite so far out. But there was another in my interview group in the same boat, and he got the CJO as well. Maybe a smart move by SWA to reach so far forward, while others are building seemingly large pools. Anyway you slice it, I couldn't be more psyched!

How much do internal recs count? I have a cousin that's a junior captain at AA and several Army buddies that are senior-ish FO's (747/777) at UAL. All have offered letters and have offered to "walk" my resume into HR. Is that shooting for the stars, or does it actually carry some weight?

Since they're not looked at until the final step at AA the value is suspect.
First you have to get selected by the computer. Accepted for, and pass , the online interview. Pass the F2F interview. Then the entire package gets reviewed by the final selection team. That's when the LOR's are reviewed.
There's a suspicion that there some 'top down' selections are being made. All indications are that it's MUCH smaller than it was in the past.
