Yes I am seeing a theme of low time military with a whole bunch of gold stars and a fresh coat of wax.

Can't tell you how many guys I know that got screwed out of a job during the lost decade. Congrats to those getting hired today.
Unless civilians just aren't getting hired, and those hiring pie charts indicate that they are, many/most of them seem to be high time. Just a few posts ago somebody all-civilian said they got hired with 10,000+ hours. What I'm not seeing much of are the civvies getting hired with 4-5k hours. I'm sure they're out there, but they're certainly not posting here.

If and when I rule the world, all pilots will be required to report in to this thread when they're hired at a major or legacy. And superfluous posts without any real hiring stats like this one won't be allowed.

Including UPT it's probably about 11-12 years.

Agreed. The vast majority of regional pilots I know getting hired by the majors have 6k+ total time, and many have at least 500 hours TPIC. There have certainly been exceptions and no doubt some sample bias.
