Is this an airline interview or military interview?
1) Apply,
2) Interview,
3) Get hired,
4) Enjoy.

It's an airline interview...but apparently they care how you performed previously in your career. After all, past performance is the best indicator of future success.
Take away: they know how to read your mil qualifications...and right now they care about all of them. They can still afford to be very selective...for now.

Well then explain what it is that you are looking for. It is not a military interview. We are not a military division or contractor. If you don't have fitreps from military service, you can hardly be expected to produce any. You will probably be asked (I do not know for sure because I am not involved with the process) to provide some personal references from your former employer if you are not military.

It makes PERFECT sense of why they'd want to see fitness reports.
However, it adds a twist to view the preference of military based on the "know quantity" and "they know what they're getting".
Almost as if that can now be called into question somewhat.

Before everybody got sand in their V, I think he was trying to dig out whether having a military background would be potentially more hazardous or favorable than a civilian-only background because of the differences in the 'yardstick'.
