Are they not waging "war" on the US industry? And cheating in the process? I cut them no quarter whatsoever. none. I hope they go under.

Losing 200 or so pilots over the next three months at any of the the three, would really do a number. They're having a hard enough time now finding qualified pilots that are willing to uproot out of their first world country.
This is a much better idea than blacklisting guys who go there. Then the 3 ME carriers lose money training guys as well. It would be awesome to decimate their pilot ranks and see a bunch of 380's sitting in the desert because they have no pilots to fly them.

No clue. I know a lot of RJ guys went over during the 2002-2007 time frame.

It's close to 10% at Emirates. Much lower at Etihad and Qatar.

Not quite correct on the years. It wasn't until 2005ish that the RJ guys even got a look. At the beginning of 2002 there was 1 American pilot. At the end of 2002 there were 2.

Probably was closer to 2005. I know 3 that went to Emirates in 2006. How many pilots are there are Emirates now?

I agree that if the US Airlines seriously want to put a crimp in Emirates, et al, they will hire all of those at those carriers that want to come home. I know there are plenty.
