Ok, now for an update. My buddy just got the job offer from United. He's stoked!!! Still, I relayed to him that if he aces the DAL interview and gets an offer, go with DAL. But other things to consider are the future retirements and the median/avg age group of the pilot group on the property now at each airline. My buddy is 47, retired from the Marine Corps. UAL has a lot of younger pilots, especially from the LCAL side. But then again, DAL had a lot of their senior guys take early retirement a few years ago. Ahhhh hell, you guys are right- it's a CRAP SHOOT!!!
