In two separate posts, on the previous page, you admit to theft of a person's personal property AND then have the gall to tell someone else you don't have the time for "lack of discipline or respect?" REALLY?!?!
Take a step back from the keyboard - HERO - and try to understand how hypocritical your posts look/sound. Try to have a little humility and quit bragging about being a petty theif.

There was no theft involved.
Took out the battery and gave the phone back to him. Told Junior, if he was a good little doobie, he'd get his battery back after the last flight of the day.
Now you and Ben just sit in the corner and drink your milk and eat your cookies and whimper just how captjns is a meanie weenie for demanding professional behavior in accordance with the policy and procedures of company procedures and manuals as imparted during I doc. It's OK

OK Elliot... It's time to learn and use your words properly.
There was no theft involved.
The item in question was confiscated for the duration of the day. I failed to mention this was not the first occurrence with the the individual.

I respect you more and more every time you reply to these boys.

Love this thread! Instead of "weeding out" utilizing Delta's psych team or United's Hogan exam I think it's time to check the phone records of the millenials. The higher the texting rate the less likely you will be hired!

Had an F/O fiddling with a so-called smart phone while trying to get a way from the gate on time.
Asked the newbie if I could take a look at his phone... Took out the battery and gave the phone back to him. Told Junior, if he was a good little doobie, he'd get his battery back after the last flight of the day.

There seems to be a lot of hurt feelings among SNAPs for not following the rules and then getting chastised by Capts. Between this and issues with the proper attire while JSing, it blows my mind. Seems simple: follow the rules, and everything will be A-OK.

This thread reminds me of a great story. DAL has a former German Navy F104 pilot. He told me of a messed up two F104 over water run in on a surface contact . He was flying a 2-seat 104 and the radar operator was directing them in on this ship. They were very low (200') but still in marginal vfr. At the last second they see not a ship but a oil platform. The platform went between them as they pealed left and right. RTB, which means in this case Return To Bar. At the bar the Radar Officer was handcuffed to the brass rail, his credit card was "confiscated" and the squadron drank all night. Pit, the DAL pilot telling the story, said his squadron mate was lucky he was not beaten to death. (Hope I told it right Pit.) Sorry to all who are offended but to some professionalism is actually important.
