What I would consider exciting is getting PDC and D-ATIS. Something that’s actually very useful and resembles a real airline. Charts+ is neither, unfortunately.
PDC Won’t happen - we have ads b out only.

D-atis I would love but where’s the cost benefit? That’s all MESA cares about. Having it though would have caused an earlier diversion for me a whole back that might have paid for it. Who would we contact to get it?

737s -something might happen on cargo and it might not be at night. Amazon increasingly needs to move things faster than overnight. But we can’t staff what we have. What makes you think we would cannibalize our pilots for cargo? That’ll be a whole separate deal.

Uh what does PDC via ACARS have to do with ADS-B? That’s an ACARS function.

My understanding of PDC was wrong. It’s not part of ADSB IN. So yes we should have it!

*Mesa. Not MESA. It’s not an acronym. You wouldn’t say DELTA, would you?

It’s for EMPHASIS. You missed that I didn’t capitalize ADS-B and ATIS.

None of us were angry when we did our first walk around with our IOE Captain. Scattergood and Pat, God rest his soul were mine and they have never complained. Don't expect anyone to improve your situation. Believe it or not no one cares about you more than you. Do something about it, don't expect Mesa to fix it, they have shareholders to deal with

Wholeheartedly agree. I’m content with my position and progress at Mesa. The people I deal with daily are awesome.

Pat was also one of my IOE captains. I miss his sarcasm. It was an extremely sad deal what happened.
I completely agree with the sentiment in this post. Mesa is no thrills, cut every corner crap operator that is more deserving of being a 36th NW st company. No, I take that back, some of those companies would be an improvement.

I just don’t like the fact that we as pilots need to be their QA finding all these errors. All just to save the company money?... might as well just use NOS plates.

NOS plates would be much easier and more correct than Charts+. The issue is there is international flights. We would still need Jepp or Charts+ unless NOS covers all of our international airports.
