In what way? Is it the need to manually type in SIDs/STARS into the route? Or that everything needs to be entered in upper case while the default input is lower case? How about even if you put them in correctly they’re still not plotted on the map?

Biggest issue I have with Jepps at my company is it not listing which call ahead frequencies to use for which part of the FIR I am entering. Being that NavBlue is European, I bet it does a good job of that. Jepps just gives you a list of 30 frequencies to try. The old paper charts listed frequencies to sections.
Not something you guys even need to concern yourself with, but a curiosity on my end.

I said the exception was SIDS and STARS. I’ve never had it lock up. Plotting of Arrivals and departures is coming.

The tabs are big and fat. Setup your user tabs - I put parking gates in for example and backup approach. Easier to swap by mashing the tab then jepp scrolling method.

I never said they were light years ahead of jepps but also the document search is better and it searches all docs.

It’s an EFB. It works. It’s coming. It’s not the huge disaster extremists say it is.

If they were good as you think, then every airline in the US would use them. There’s a reason few regionals or low cost airlines use them....

They are late to the party trying to make inroads. Look you can like jepps better. No crime. But the company is switching. Go along to get along. And the new charts are not that bad.

Well you partially correct, but there’s nothing to be excited about here unless you plan to go fly the old beat up 737’s at night....

What I would consider exciting is getting PDC and D-ATIS. Something that’s actually very useful and resembles a real airline. Charts+ is neither, unfortunately.
