This is an airline that accepts applicants with 5 + checkride failures or DUIs.

The pay is representative of its pilot quality.

If you really care about pay then go apply to endeavor.

This airline is nothing more than a reflection of its union’s voting members. It’s ironic actually. It’s not the fact that some people have skeletons that’s the problem. It’s the fact that they vote like people who are so grateful to have a job that they don’t care how they’re treated (especially in comparison with their peers). That’s arguably understandable in a market where there are 10 people who’d gladly take their place. Not right now. Voting something like this into agreement is wildly foolish and will perpetuate the mesa reputation which unfortunately precedes it’s excellent pilot corps.

I don’t have any failures. I chose Mesa for the bases. Not everyone flying here has skeletons. People came here for all different reasons. But thanks for the life advice.

coming from you asking all these questions Hoping Mesa calls you back with clear failures on your record is rich. If you struggled to get a call back from a regional you’re barking up a tree you can’t even reach. I’m a soon to be LAMA. Thinking one regional is better then another when A). You haven’t even gotten through a 121 program yet and B). Think you’re now apart of an elite group because you got hired on by a regional is not a good start. I could easily bad mouth you for failing 121 training. It’s the easiest training out there. But I don’t throw rocks from high places. Hopefully you learn.

GoFaster, in today's email, they were saying they are going to handle scheduling after the TA is ratified, do you think much improvement will be done in that department?

I can tell you that for an example our PWA says in black and white that aggressive pickup will be implemented no later than June 1, 2018. Still waiting on that one. Also the junior available thing is still an issue after being settled again and again. The company regularly violates the contract as it’s written, and that’s almost completely talking about scheduling. Put another way, with a ratified TA specifically excluding any changes to the scheduling section why would they change anything? Good will? Because it’s the right thing to do? Anybody who’s been here more than 5 minutes knows that’s not even close to how this place operates. I wouldn’t trust half of what you read in black and white and I definitely wouldn’t put an iota of hope into the idea that they’re going to make any changes in the next 4 years. By the way that’s the section that should have had the most changes made.

Default TA

Just as one example since apparently people are actually considering voting yes to this trash heap, Silver Airways has 20 turboprops that don’t say United, American or DHL on the side…. They also have more vacation days, 12 days min off a month, 4 hour min/day, a duty rig, 100% deadhead pay, upgrade and longevity bonuses, better per diem and better pay. Just one example. Seriously, don’t get blue-pilled by the union on this one, do your own homework before you vote.
