Vote it in before you leave to implode the place.

I remember a certain forum nut stating “ mesa will be the highest paid…..”

that clearly didn’t age well.

Voting it in would implode the place… take a look at contract language at other fee for departure airlines, a number of which have been approved in the last year. I never expected anything industry leading at mesa but this is abysmal. And the scheduling isn’t even being touched. In case you haven’t been here long enough, kicking the can down the road with no timeline is JO’s MO. This is a way to raise the pay and give management talking points for recruitment without changing anything else in the contract except pronouns.

Seriously, think hard about what happens if this is voted in. The name of the game for mgmt is keeping the hiring pipeline open long enough for the Aviate cadets to start flowing and once that happens you can forget about any meaningful changes in the contract ever.

This is the strongest negotiating position the pilot group has probably ever been in, and so I thought at least it would be a middle to bottom of the pack type contract. It is not. The point of organized labor is to protect the workers from cutthroat management. I’ll be honest I’ve never really understood the point of a union until working here. Voting this in doesn’t just hose you, it hoses everybody for years and years to come (assuming regionals are still around at that point).

Default Good leads the way

Thankfully they changed the pronouns our biggest priority is to show we/us/they align with the core values of United #goodleadstheway

Gee, you guys sure do like to whine a lot.

This is an airline that accepts applicants with 5 + checkride failures or DUIs.

The pay is representative of its pilot quality.

If you really care about pay then go apply to endeavor.

This. Every airline needs pilots right now. If this is the best we can do in this environment the airline should, and most likely will, cease operations. I just can’t grasp why they keep saying they are “proud to present” this agreement. Should read something more like..we’re ashamed and you should vote no.

Was told that you have to have one year with the company to be able to vote but that was word of mouth from another new hire.

Are you referring to yourself? Because you’re constantly posting about failures. If you’ve failed that many times find a new career. Don’t drag the rest of the pilot groups pay down so you can fly planes-when you clearly shouldn’t be.

Yeah I have 1 checkride failure and I'm currently waiting for indoc at Endeavor. Maybe you should do the same.
