An LOA for probably substandard wages is idiotic. A mediocre contract isn’t that hard to put together.

Agreed. The Mec thought the loa proposal was just trying to get around the no vote and was not substantially different.

So our union turned down immediate raises across the board while we wait for the next vote. Got it.

so you want the MEC to go over the head of the pilot group and implement an agreement that is what they just voted down and kills all of their negotiating power lol wow

Ah. I guess that makes sense although a temporary pay raise shouldn’t negate a new contract and would hopefully keep the door open at least.

I would've been fine with a temporary 48 until it gets raised to 60 in three months

They turned down almost exactly what the pilots voted down. Whether I agree or not the pilots voted it down and the company with trying to back door into the TA. The mec was right to say no. The pilots already did.
