TA

Critical Mass will depend on the partners willingness to accept Mesa requests for flying reductions. Eventually it’ll be unsustainable. However the attrition spike was still in March. Nothing has exceeded that month as of yet. Sr guys were not leaving. With the defeat of the TA and lack of meaningful response by the company - they now are leaving. Resignations have not been tendered but they are coming. The only reason they haven’t yet is that those hiring are back logged and so the start dates are a ways out.

No new TA agreement anytime soon
MEC kicking back and taking their sweet sweet time on "polling" the pilots for new TA vote
No more AQP recurrent-- I cant think of a single sub 1k FO staying for upgrade here due to this (among many other reasons)
Alot of long time mesa CA's ive recently flown with are out the door in the coming months due to the above
Absolutely zero reason any new hire should come here. Even goJet for commute air would be a step up and that is saying alot

Why is non AQP recurrent bad? How is it any worse than initial being non-AQP (since it's always been like that for initial)
In the end, you still have to do the same things, and the examiner won't fail you for the first wrong thing (as long as you correct it)

AQP has always been seen as beneficial. Only at Mesa do we hear of excuses of why it’s not a good thing. At the end of the day it’s not good for the company and the company is just tossing yet another problem onto the backs of the pilots. Literally every single person I’ve flown with is on the way out. All of them. This place will not be in business long enough for someone starting EJET training today to ever fly the plane. I’d put $1000 on it.
