Quote: Again, a very clear statement of ignorance. More so, that you don't know why this is wrong, and ignorant. And dangerous.

You really don't know, do you?
Did you see my other message (the serious not numerous one) where I said if you have a Mexico overnight take the water. Or I can sell you one of my disinfecting water bottles.

I personally don’t drink the water in Mexico. Not even the bottled water when they leave it in the hotel room. I’ll drink the bottle I brought with me. Where did it come from? The plane perhaps.

But I do so enjoy winding you up and watching you decompensate.

Your statement about bringing your own water was diminished by your repeated statements of filling a water bottle from the tap. If the natives drink the tap water, you can too. (Paraphrased) It sounded like bringing your own water was a throw away line, an alternative. Your main set of statements were taken at face value, not interpreted as to spin everyone up.

This is how most interpreted what you said. Good day.

Have an upcoming PC Sim or proficiency checkride coming up at the end of the month for recurrent. Generally how does the PC sim go? I have heard you get three chances to make a mistake before the checkride is over is that true? Training only gave me a UPRT sim before the PC sim so I’m expecting to go in pretty cold for the checkride. Any input would be much appreciated. I’m an FO on the CRJ. Thanks

Yes you are allowed a mistake. Then the sim is paused and you are trained to proficiency however long it takes, then get a second shot at it. Yes it's a three strike rule.

Yes it's just 1 day travel to PHX, 2 days ground, 1 day UPRT, 1 day PC check and Oral, and then 1 day travel back home. No warm up Sims. No mock oral.

I have a curious question about the chief pilot role

1. Anyone know why CC (previous cheif pilot) left to be a chief pilot at Piedmont, after being at Mesa for 20+ years?

2. How much does the chief pilot role pay at Mesa? What is the salary?

3. How is the current new chief pilot? Has anyone interacted with him?

Theres supposed to be training after a failed maneuver. There isn’t because there isn’t time. You can screw up a single maneuver and repeat it and pass. You can then mess up a second maneuver and then pass it. If you mess up a third you are done. If you mess up the same one twice you are done.

Perhaps if it was a loved one flying on a filthy dirty aircraft then being told there will be no water today, you might change your view. Grow up and handle this in a professional way. That is why you have a Union. Use it!

To be fair, I have recently dead-headed on mainline [777-200] equipment where I had to scrub an unidentified substance from the seat before sitting down. Let's not pretend "Filthy & Dirty" are exclusive to the regional level.

How many majors have had an aircraft pulled offline by the health department? Back in the early 2000’s I was based in PHX when a flight attendant with a friend in the health department had that done to a filthy aircraft. USAir wasn’t happy and suddenly cleaners showed up on the overnight aircraft again.

You’re using anecdotal evidence from two decades ago. I’d call it a bit of a stretch…
