Ideally I'd like to come back after the Dash positions are filled and have the seniority to be based near my home in the CRJ.
Its Mesa there isn't anything you can do at your own leisure. I am be wrong but I understand it that you can decline once. You are then passed over until everyone junior to you is called back or your one year then comes up. So if you decline it you will have to wait basically till your one year period to get asked again because I am sure everyone below you won't be recalled before that time.

Default Great News

MESA WILL NEVER DIE!!

I am so stoked to get back to flying in a country where people speak english and safety standards are somewhat followed. Can't wait to see everybody back online. Let's all hope that someone prevents JO from ruining the company again.

This initial recall is going to be for right seat Dash positions and relatively small (5-10 pilots).

What's wrong with second jobs?

Aviation is fickle in the best of times. My advice to ALL pilots is to have a second career and remain current in it. The extra income is great, but not nearly as good as having something to do when circumstances force you out of the cockpit.

Is that the "official" word, or an educated guess?

Nothing is "official" as of yet. Official word will probably come out either tomorrow or early next week. My source, however, is good.

Now how far down the list the company is going to have to go to get those 5-10 pilots is the big question. I for one am not planning on coming back.

Best of luck to everyone still awaiting recall!

I always got filth smudges on my shirt from the busted one, but it was the coziest one of the 3 or 4.

"Flying is in the blood. I really enjoyed it even at Mesa. "

I had a similar situation 5 years ago (switched from IT to Fly for YV), tried to explain to others, but unless you're the chosen one you won't understand.

I hope to see you FUR guys sooner than later!
