Mesa needs no bad mouthing or trolling. Simply stating facts is enough to stir everyone up. The truth hurts.

I've been here about 1.5 years now and I'm in my base of choice, holding a line with weekends off and staring an upgrade in the face. Yea, trolls don't need to do it justice, it's just bad for everyone here.

Everyone knows this guy, he still hasn't contributed anything on his own thread.

Yep and they're still gonna be Flap Operators for years to come. That sucks.

cool - so there's a good chance I could get my base of choice relatively quickly?
are there some bases that are better/worse as far as schedules go?

Not true. Just the disgruntleds who hate their jobs. Mesa just "is what it is" for the rest of us.

I feel the same way. Yet for some odd reason a few pilots at other regionals are worried about us and feel the need to frequently voice their concerns in this thread. But that's pilots just being pilots for you...always worried about the food on everyone else's plate.

Yes, it just depends on movement but the upgrades should continue for awhile. PHX seems to be better than CLT and the ORD/IAD guys seem to get more days off with higher credit, although I haven't really payed much attention to it in the last few months.

I was using sarcasm, of course I don't have a problem with Mesa, it's worked out great for me so far.

I never have to do Ready as I bid CML and I'm the most senior guy.

Also where are people award RS4? I have never seen that awarded or offered in the ORD or IAD bases.
Sorry, I mean't RS4 goes Senior, not Junior. They have RS4 in CLT, and I think PHX. It varies from 1-4 guys in CLT on RS4. Lately just one. Also, in the Airways system they always have guys sitting ready reserve on the RS1 and RS3 shifts. Almost never do you get to sit at home. I heard it is rare to sit Ready in IAD in the United system. Lucky ducks... Probably a contract thing that Airways has requiring this...just a guess.

CLT is just a larger base. A lot of flights and when weather or mechanicals hit it can throw a wrench in the spokes. Plus Mesa doesn't want you at home enjoying yourself at the pool while on call. So they tend to keep a heavy RR rotation going. They want people to be utilized as much as possible. But sometimes it bites them in the butt because your FDP starts once your at the airport.
