Yeah. Here or Compass probably. Considering you already have all that 121 time, you might upgrade in less than a year if they really start needing Captains (since others won't have the 1000 SIC time yet). That's partly speculation, but barring any sort of 9/11 event it should be quick regardless.

Edit: Or as cartean said, maybe PSA, but I'm less familiar with their operation.

I live in XNA, and the bases for Mesa's ERJ work for me. I skimmed thru some stuff on PSA on this forum, but its hard to get to the facts when everyone is out bashing each other. I try to make important decisions based on facts, not conjecture and some online troll's opinion. Thanks for the help guys. So far Im hearing that Mesa will need 1000 pilots over the next 12 months to staff the remaining ERJs to come online. The mock bid went to Seniority #705 for CA upgrade, I think I would be around 850 or so... Inputs gladly welcomed.

As for RS1 and RS3, be prepared to sit Ready Reserve every day at the airport for 8 hours if you are not flying. It gets pretty old very quick.
Couple things here, I bid reserve because I live in base. (I can hold a good line with weekends off but I rather not fly and make my 75 hour guarantee. I've flown a total of 13 hours this month.)

I never have to do Ready as I bid CML and I'm the most senior guy.

Also where are people award RS4? I have never seen that awarded or offered in the ORD or IAD bases.

DAY,TSY,CLT ....ughh hopefully you live in CLT with those choices. How many pilot's on property and whats your most junior capt hire date? How many 50 seat jets do you have? What's you current delivery schedule like and how many airplanes? What's keeping mgmt from combining you guys with piedmont and shedding the dash's and 200's??? Just curious.

Unless you're prior 121, good luck getting the EJet.

Not necesarily, there's Mil., Corp, and some 135 guys here. They look at each on a case by case just for the first few thru the program. It's just to reduce liability in the pipeline etc. Remember, the programs practically brand new btw...Besides, you can have the ejet slot when you upgrade for sure as well.

True. They wouldn't give me the EJet. (Not that I care what I fly...I just have roots in Iah.) 135 guy with 2k total 700tpic, 800 multi.

Based on the known and rumored airplanes coming (the latter being a big variable), I'd estimate around 600-700 additional pilots being added over the next 12 months to sustain fleet growth. I don't think growth will really plateau until ~three years from now, but the most substantial growth will be the next year. 12-18 months from now, I think some of the fast upgrades will move on to LCC's, majors, and hopefully legacies. That will keep bringing people over to the left seat expeditiously. I think the real limitation here is pilots; if the shortage comes to fruition, and they can't hire more, they won't be able to make everyone a Captain. This is all conjecture, but I have fun toying around with these forecasts. Take it with a grain of salt.

Also, what mock bid are you referring to? I haven't heard of this.

So I have no chance at getting an ERJ for the most part until a bit later? They either are or are not trying to staff that airplane so I dont completely understand that but..
