I don't know if I should proceed into sim and risk flunking and hurting my career... or quit one and go back to single pilot ops.
About 75% of my class didn't study flows and callouts like they should and were floundering around during CPT. Most of them were still struggling during sim 1 and 2, but the great majority passed their checkrides and are out flying the line today. Yes, you may be a touch behind, but I wouldn't throw in the towel over it. Fortunately there is not a whole lot to "get" with flows and callouts...they are 99% rote memory....so just practice, practice and practice.

And practice with your sim partner during off hours- having your sim partner there will help put things into context (not to mention, help you guys to work better as a crew)

Much agreed. Flows and profiles are best done outside of your sim sessions with your sim buddy.

Nah, you'll have ample time during training (provided you heed the advice here and put in the work!) I sought out and obtained a ton of class materials from people here before I started, and it did more harm than good; I didn't know what was important and what wasn't, so I tried to study everything, and my brain was a bit fried before I even walked in the door--not smart. The training dept will give you everything you need to know, when they want you to know it.

This^^^ I agree completely. When your indoc do the best you can and focus on that. When your in systems study hard and make sure you know the overhead panel. You will have time to learn flows and callouts and they make a ton more sense when you actually know what the switches are doing and why.

We're not allowed to share company materials with someone who isn't a (verified employee). It's considered safety sensitive, and both people could be fired.

So does anyone know the upgrade forecast for 2015? Are they going to increase/decrease or continue at the same rate?
