If you're AM, they should release you very early on T-Day with that many people on duty. If you're PM, they should release you by 5PM.

It would be very easy for them to algorithmically determine reserve numbers based on historical absences, holidays/weekends, and forecast block time, but you know--just cuz it's easy/cheap/simple to do something doesn't mean Mesa's gonna do it.
Always appreciate the information flaps. Is there a place on Pilot Lounge or FLICA to see when the last flight of the day is? If it is 5pm, that may be just the info I needed. My deadhead gets me in after that, so the goal would be to skip it altogether and commute home from the city I start in.

A lot of guys use Austin to connect between PHX and IAD/CLT because flights often have some open seats. San Antonio's good for that too. But I'd imagine that would be commutable for pretty much any base.

What can first year fo at mesa expect to take home pay wise for a check? Also are they hiring for both Erj and crj. As a young new hire do you have much say on aircraft?
Thanks!

That info is only on FTweb, I think. Yeah, I'd drop the DH and go straight home.

Crumbs bro, crumbs.

$700 check on the 15th.

$700-$1100 check on the 30th. Lower end as a RSV with little flying. Higher end as a line holder avg. 80hrs of credit.

That's with being single on the basic insurance plan. About $110 a month.

I love how you give advice to prospective new hires but you don't know how to do something as simple as check FTWeb for departing/arriving/delayed flights in your own domicile. (add laughing emojis)

That's some basic RSV stuff you should know that first day of sitting RSV.

If no one ever told you, how would you know? Thanks Blackwing. For what it's worth, I've heard that question asked numerous times in crew rooms only to get I-don't-know shrugs. There's nothing wrong with helping with the things you do know and continuing to learn the things you don't.

All new hires are getting IAD. The only bases Mesa has and will have for now are PHX, DFW, IAD, and IAH for EJET.
Commute from AUS to DFW can be tricky. DFW being a major hub for AA a lot of AA commuting out of DFW. Look and see what it looks like for AUS to IAH
