Just busting your chops bud.

Good to know. There are only three direct AUS-IAD per day. IAH is better but still a little sparse. I'm a little hesitant about voluntarily signing myself up for a two-legger, but it is what it is.

If the big three, (UAL, DAL, and AAG) each hire 1500 over the next 1.5 years, that'll be 4500 new hires. And if Alaska, Hawaiian, UPS, FedEx, Atlas, Southern Air, and other big boys hire a combined 1500, that'll equal 6000 new hire pilots,......... or 1/3 of the TOTAL REGIONAL PILOT GROUP in the next 1.5 years. And that's not even taking into account the hiring at the middle tier airlines, i.e. JetBlue, Spirit, Frontier, and Virgin or hiring at the decent-paying fractionals, (NetJets, Flex Jet, etc.).
We are also in the market for used 737's and A319's. Additionally, we are looking for a mainline fleet to bridge the gap between the E175 and the A319.

Either way, your numbers are pretty accurate when it comes to hiring.

They most likely won't let you drop it if it's on company metal. At least that's been my experience.

Your still new-ish right deltajuliet?

You should just not show for it and if anyone says anything play dumb.

The "they never really taught us the RSV rules" usually works, because well it's the truth.

If I hadn't been at a prior airline I would have been lost on the line at Mesa the first year, especially on reserve.

Tincan, just give me one trip bro. Just 4 days of setting flaps for you, dropping gear when *I* feel like it, calling "3 knots slow", and making dumb remarks when you crush the 900 on will have you worshiping my awesomeness. Remember, I'll let you buy the beer while I talk about how much money I make.
