Well, was hired in the middle of 13 at Mesa, just put in my Captain upgrade bid.. It will happen very shortly... However, it will NOT happen to anyone coming here right now, unless we get a lot more airplanes...

Based on your class what would you say the percentage is of those without any prior 121 time?

11 day off is min guarantee. Line holders in the American/US Airways system get 11-13 days off as average. United system seems to have more efficient lines and get more days off on an average month.

15-16 days off here. Averaged that the last 8 months.
Average credit 82-92hrs.
I'm top 10% in base. (IAD)
United (IAH and IAD) very productive lines.
Even a junior United system line holder in IAD credits 12-14 days off with 80-90hrs of credit.

Anyone else use the Fat Gecko mount? I'm gonna go ahead and get the mount ordered before training starts and I think anything over one suction cup is kinda over kill.

One suction cup is good. I have the two cup one and it's not coming off in turbulence. The screen can crack very easy on its way off the window.

I've said this before but I hate the fat gecko mount. Would much rather prefer the more commonly used RAM mount that can accommodate a protective case.

I just got a phone offer from Mesa, but I'm still interviewing with SKW in a week. I figured Mesa=RELATIVELY quick upgrade, but not as many choices on bases, and lesser pay; SKW=slower upgrade but better company (someone might chime in since this is what I've heard from friends - not drinking the KoolAid until I'm in the industry), but better pay and choice of bases. Anyone with ears/feet/eyes in both places want to shed some light? Much appreciated fellas! Cheers
