Why the FU** would some one come to mesa right now? Listen, you go where the upgrade is the fastest.. Mesa has people in the system now with global numbers in the 900's. If your global seniority is 700 or above, your going to wait 5 or 6 years for an upgrade. We are not getting any more airplanes after the e175's.
You go to the regional with the fastest upgrade so you can get the hell out of the regionals. That's Silver Airways, and PSA! All the eagle pilots with their 10 year upgrade plans just turned into "never", but hell, they have a good contract...
All the flying that Mesa lost out on went to other companies with higher prices no doubt. Don't think anyone is going to argue that Mesa is not the low baller on contracts... Don't you see? Airplanes are being spread around tactically to ensure the whipsaw never ends! Get your 121 pic time and get the hell out of the regionals asap! Going to a good regional? What? Is there such a thing? NO!

 

I'm not aware of any regional that issues tablet devices of any kind to their pilots. I know for a fact that Envoy pilots have to supply their own if they want to go digital.

And if it's a choice between supplying my own ipad and wasting hours and hours doing paper revisions--for no pay--I'll supply my own ipad and watch por...er, Netflix...while you're doing your paper revisions.

 

I'm not trying to be a dick, I don't want to burn bridges and **** people off. I just didn't understand why I was getting chastised for telling a guy off for a stupid post about an iPad. And I guess I took it too far and for that I apologize I take it all back so everyone can quit getting they're panties in a wad.

 

The scab airline TSA has issued Galaxy Tablets and will be issuing brand new Ipad Airs for their EFB. Now you know one.

Well, find a TSA pilot and ask to see the tablet. That's the best I can do to help you believe. Would a drawing help? Maybe a powerpoint presentation? Do you need to touch the moon in order to prove that it, too, is real?
