No. If you have the reserve coverage over buffer to drop a trip or a part of it, it just goes into open time. If someone else picks it up, that's great, but you are relieved from your duty if the drop is approved. On the other hand, if you put a trip up on the trade board, you are still on the hook for it until someone picks it up. If no one does, you still have to fly that trip. With the way they have been setting the reserve buffers so high the last few months, its next to impossible to drop anything. Pretty much guarantees sick calls from people.

I would just wait until they give you the information in class. I know you want to get a head start but you will do fine. The limitations/memory items make a lot more sense when you understand the systems. I would not recommend 3rd party info either because that will end up being confusing and too much information.

Agree; having stuff ahead of class hurt more than it helped. Mesa training is designed to be spoon-fed, so let them.
