What upgrade time would you expect for a guy with 3000 MIL time of which he has 500 PIC in MEJ multi crew aircraft that can be counted toward the 1000hr 121 time? Bottom line he would need 500hrs of 121 SIC time to be over the CA mins? From training to completion of IOE? To being eligible and have the seniority # for CA?

Currency and looking for the best regional to get in the left seat the fastest. Regional AL Job offers and pay really are not an issue. Getting to the left seat is my priority. right now I'm looking for options better than TSA, PSA and Compass.....trying to sift through the BS on these threads and put my money on the table where I think I'll get to the left the quickest. 2cents?

Without any additional flying announced, or much higher attrition, Mesa's upgrade time is going to creep back up again. Upgrade times are always a guess at best.

You won't need to worry about upgrade time IMO. You just need recency and you will likely be working at a major before you would upgrade anywhere. I would say once you get a couple hundred hours of 121 you will get hired by a major if your apps are updated. But, if upgrade time is really what you are after, psa/TSA are probably the best options. Mesa could announce a bunch of new flying and it will be the place to go. It's a crapshoot, gambling on a bunch of crap companies. Skywest has typically been the golden boy, but my friends over there say things are getting pretty bad there.
I would recommend going to a regional that has a base where you live or could easily commute. Mesa, despite all the bashing and infantile people who post on this board, generally has a good pilot group, and I havent been messed with too much by the company. Minus the pay, I am happy here. So if phx, IAH, dfw, or iad work for you, it's not a bad place to be. I'm still working to get a couple friends over here.

You"ll hold Captain at TSA quickly. Maybe 6-8 months on the line to get the time, quicker if you work like crazy. Airplanes are hitting the line in two weeks, and they will continue through next year. You likely won't see any reserve, therefore allowing you to fly and reach the Captain minimums that much quicker.

Let me also add that, resident experts like FaceBiter and a couple other winners on this board will tell you that until you spend several winters in the northeast flying turboprops with steam gauges in low IFR, deicing every leg, you are not seasoned enough to be in the left seat in 121 ops, and God forbid at a major. Fortunately most of the captains at Mesa aren't as bad as the loud ones on this board (and the annoying skywest career FO...FB). I've only flown with a couple wackjobs here. So don't let that sway your opinion. Get in (anywhere), get recency, and bounce.

Also, do you have ATP or at least the written done?
