Those were mis-spells. No I was not drinking Yager. I have a safety device on my IPAD that detects Jager. It senses the apologetic causing substance via the pours on my fingertips and shuts the IPAD down for 12 hours.

I was trying to explain to Realtalk, after we were called pathetic. Not everyone at Mesa, "flying big airplanes" is making peanuts. Middle school banter, sure, what the hell. I don't care. I do like the slashing throats part. Reminds me of the days back at San Quentin. Hence, Mesa was the only regional that would hire me. Haha, joke

Ha, not because of Yager. Those were mis-spells. Just noticed that.

I have been at Mesa quiet a while. (Nothing to brag about). The only time I have seen reserves in the green were the last two years. Since Mesa was aggressively hiring for the new flying. I think SOP is to run them in the red.

It can be spotty green at best. Interesting enough I was able to straight drop a day trip on Flica for today. Took all of about 10 seconds to be processed and approved. That's 1% of the time though... Just keep your eyes on RSV coverage bc it changes with new people coming online, people being used, etc.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to get some input. I'm approaching restriced ATP mins and for me, home is the DC area. Republic's contract is a bit worse than Mesa, so I'm considering the IAD base. I have to the option to go to SkyWest or Compass, which both have better contracts and companies as a whole but I'd either have to commute or live in LA, or another city where the rent is high and far from the family. Is it worth living at home, since I'm close with my family and been away for so long, to give up a better contract for me?

R-ATP here as well. December 14' hire. I too had a similar situation as you. I'm from DFW and still stay with the family to save money and living in base is everything. Especially while on reserve. Yea Mesa contract isn't the best and the pay isn't either. But I had my choice of regionals but stuck with Mesa for living in base, decent upgrade time, and equipment (no 50 seaters to worry about going bye bye). I'm assuming a regional isn't your end goal so choose a regional that allows you to get in, get out and move on to greener pastures as soon as possible.

Side note: you will get IAD right out of training if you want it and won't be on reserve very long I imagine. PM me if you have any more questions.
